Sorbents are one of the essential tools for handling oil spills on water surfaces. During oil spill emergency response operations, it is recommended to first use mechanical recovery equipment to collect thicker layers of oil. Subsequently, sorbents can be utilized to adsorb thinner layers of oil on the water surface. In areas where mechanical recovery equipment is unavailable or chemical dispersants cannot be used, sorbents are an effective solution for oil spill cleanup.

Product Features:

– Low density, allowing them to float on water surfaces.

– Highly oleophilic and hydrophobic, absorbing only oil from the water surface and subsurface, without absorbing water.

– Excellent oil retention, reusable, and maintain their properties when stored long-term.

– Non-toxic and odorless, safe for aquatic products and do not produce toxic fumes when incinerated.

– PP-1 is primarily used for recovering light oils, medium to low viscosity oils, and volatile chemical liquids with lower densities. PP-2 is suitable for adsorbing higher viscosity oils.
