The gear-shaped disc oil recovery machine is a device suitable for operations at sea and in ports, designed to clean up oil spills on the water surface. The machine floats on the water and is powered by a power station. It is appropriate for cleaning up medium- and high-viscosity oils on the water surface. When the gear-shaped disc is vertically positioned in the liquid and rotates, it lifts the oil from the water surface through a liquid channel and passes it over a weir lip. The specially designed scraper blades then remove the oil from the disc. The gear-shaped disc returns to the liquid to continue cleaning and recovering more oil. The recovered oil flows towards the central oil collection trough located in the machine body. The oil transfer pump, connected to the bottom of the collection trough and mounted on the machine frame, conveys the oil to a suitable oil storage device.
